“ From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and were incredibly accommodating. We each tried the drink special, such great value! The team was genuinely friendly, and we were even surprised with a special message from the kitchen. A great experience all around!” ”
“ Incredible evening dinner here! A very diverse menu for all palettes — highly recommend the Korean cheese balls, risotto and steak! So flavorful. Loved the private rooms too! ”
“ We occasionally dropped in just by finding the place on Google maps. It turned to be one of the most adorable experiences in Kyoto. Elevated from the crowds, cozy and relaxing environment. Welcoming and attentive personal. Easy to navigate and rich menu, the food was really good too. ”
“ A very nice restaurant to eat with your loved ones. The staffs are super friendly and hospitable. And the foods are super oishy! Thank you for having us while in Kyoto! ”
“ Incredible restaurant in Kyoto; not only were all of the dishes that we tried delicious, but the atmosphere and the service were also excellent. We highly recommend the raclette and the truffle risotto and the stake with garlic. ”
“ Kichiri Kawaramachi absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was vibrant and fun—perfect for a relaxed night out in Kyoto. The service stood out immediately. The staff were not only friendly and attentive but genuinely thoughtful. When I ordered (a bit too much!) fried chicken, they kindly checked in to make sure it wasn’t a mistake—such a considerate gesture that made us feel truly looked after. The food was delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. But what really made our night was the surprise personalized message that came with our cheesecake dessert. It was such a warm, unexpected touch that made the experience feel truly special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place with great food, exceptional service, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. A definite Kyoto highlight! ”
“ The nicest cozy place in Kyoto. Absolutely love. We were homeless trying to find a place to eat and had no expectations, but this place welcomed us in despite it being close to closing hour. Their menu is very diverse with a lot of fusion dishes, we got Italian, French, Korean, Mexican, Japanese, and more. The seats are separated, giving all privacy you need, the food is a breath of fresh air, not too oily, very well balanced. Would come back, in fact why not tomorrow. 10/10 recommend, and i’m a picky eater. ”
“ Everything was so delicious and well presented! The staff are super nice too. They let us stay and eat even though we arrived very late and past the last order time. The chefs also wrote kind personalized messages for us on our desert plate! Their menu looks graphically amazing. Please ask the staff for their recommendations if you aren’t sure, but we tried 6-7 of their food items and they were all extremely tasty and well balanced. Definitely would come again during my short stay in kyoto! ”
